I wanted to take a little time to share one of my many painting methods with everyone. I decided to do this for the reasons I consistently get messages from artists who ask me a multitude of questions on my creative process. Any how, I hope this helps everyone understand a little more about one of many ways I approach my art. Sometimes I focus on tonal value before I add in color and sometimes I paint the values whilst using color, it honestly depends on my preference at the time I sit down for the 'get down.' I will offer more in the future so stay connected with me.
Lastly, If you follow me on Facebook or here then you may have seen a recent drawing I did of Batman entitled 'Get Well Soon...' it was actually for a kid who was hospitalized with a serious heart condition and I was told he would love some Batman Art from me. It was the least I could do and It was my hope that he would see it and it would aid in his recovery in some form.
You can view the Batman drawing here on Facebook Or DeviantART:
I hope everyone of you who views it will wish him well.
SO WHAT'S NEXT
I have many things my plate right now and the coming months should be very exciting. Now although I am disappointed that I have been unable to post more visual offerings on my various social media platforms, rest assured that its only a testament to my growing workload...alot of which i either cannot share due to NDA's or simply because I just don't feel the subject matter will lend to my portfolio. Also i must confess that a small portion of my inactivity has been a conscious decision in order to take what little free time i have to structure things in such a way to where all I have to do is focus on drawing and sharing content with all you guys. So expect to hear alot from me over the summer!
Make each day your masterpiece. Thank you for reading.

Why Artists Should Know The TOP 5 Social Networks.
Isn't it true that we live in a time where the average person's attention span/curiosity is gone in a matter of seconds? Aren't most people worried about advertising/marketing to others because it seems too difficult to gain any real traction?
Is there a resolution? Absolutely! You must remain consistent in your distribution of content to the end-user. It's like an insurance commercial you hate because it plays every 30 minutes, but it seems to be the only brand you can remember when it's time to find a provider. Point is... the internet is expanding rapidly, it's harder to maximize reach to your audience/potential clients if you're just ac
Should Artists Study Classic Films To Improve?
Should artists and designers study films to add to their vault of visual concept and style?
Absolutely! You may need to leave earth or even this dimension to find an artist who is not using film as reference or inspiration in their art-making. There is just as much to be learned from a great film as there are from classical paintings, because the aims are nearly identical despite them being categorically distinct in their execution. A great film has high-end acting and compelling character development, just as a great painting has a well conceived character whom exhibits a real reaction in the scene they exist within. Whether it illustrated
Man Of Steel Review: Does It Succeed?
MAN OF STEEL. A lot of us have fiercely devoted ourselves to the myth of superheroes as they have always given a reality to our wildest dreams, whether it is flying amongst the stars or standing courageously in the face of a crippling fear. We love superheroes in that they have always exemplified an ambitious reflection of ourselves. Therefore, it is of no surprise that the creative minds behind films such as The Dark Knight Trilogy and Watchmen made a concerted effort to focus on the MAN underneath the legend, mixing many permutations of the canon narrated/visualized in comics, and adapted it on the big screen like never seen before.
